You will be instrumental in fostering a shared understanding of delivery objectives, generating delivery forecasts, and addressing obstacles. Your accountability will extend to optimizing value delivery across various Product & Delivery Teams, harmonizing value delivery stream execution throughout the project, and critically evaluating what, why, and how we are delivering.

Key Focus Areas:

Project Cohesion

  • Clearly articulate and ensure understanding of delivery objectives for each value delivery stream across the project.
  • Collaborate with other Program Managers to maintain cohesion across all planning, execution, and delivery aspects.
  • Uphold adherence to technical and quality standards across a cross-domain or cross-enterprise project.
  • Conduct Quarterly Planning activities for the project, ensuring that integrations of value delivery streams are comprehended and committed to across the initiative.

Holistic Delivery

  • Continuously assess the scope of work, capacity requirements, and prioritization to create an integrated software execution and delivery roadmap with release forecasts.
  • Manage dependencies, risks, and obstacles for the project and escalate as necessary.
  • Establish and facilitate key scaled events at both value delivery stream and project levels.
  • Persistently seek improvements in project performance through Inspect and Adapt, Observations, and data utilization.
  • Lead integrated project release management practices and support comprehensive testing coordination.

Effective Communication

  • Develop communication strategies to share delivery plans, coordinate roadmap adjustments, and ensure transparency in plans and progress.
  • Provide leadership updates on project status, including progress, risks, challenges, achievements, and metrics.
  • Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders, including Squad Leaders/Product Owners, Product Area Leaders/Product Managers, Scrum Masters, Chapter Leaders/People Managers, Architects, and other Stakeholders to manage dependencies, remove or escalate obstacles, and ensure visibility into ongoing work and program performance.
Qualifications and Skills Required
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Over 7 years of experience in delivering complex technology solutions across multiple teams.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a role such as RTE, Delivery Lead, or similar within a Scaled Agile framework.
  • Preferred certification in Scaled Delivery Framework (e.g., SAFe).
  • Strong knowledge of Agile practices, processes, and artifacts.
  • Solid understanding of business context and product development methodologies.
  • A technology background is strongly preferred; ability to comprehend and communicate technology concepts and solutions is essential.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; capable of quickly building trust, positively influencing individuals at all organizational levels, and guiding teams towards achieving outcomes.
  • Proven facilitation skills; adept at brainstorming to generate solutions that address complex challenges and eliminate roadblocks to accelerate value delivery.
  • A strong desire for continuous learning, skill development, and fostering a culture of growth and sharing.
  • Experience in supporting the adoption and consistent use of delivery enabling tools (e.g., Jira, Jira Align, Miro, Power BI).
