Position Summary

The Tax Services Manager will collaborate with various business stakeholders both within Fidelity and externally. This role is integral to the foundational development of our Fidelity Digital AssetsSM Services Tax capabilities, focusing on the design of essential forms, policies, and procedures. The Tax Services Manager will actively pursue and lead new initiatives that enhance business value. Key responsibilities include:

  • Formulating and executing tax reporting, managing state withholding remittance and reporting, overseeing information reporting projects, and facilitating retrospectives.
  • Creating and refining policies and procedures related to tax forms and the state withholding process.
  • Coordinating with Fidelity and external partners to ensure precise and comprehensive reporting for our clients, while involving business partners in the development process.

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Preferred experience in project management.
  • Extensive knowledge of tax regulations.
  • Familiarity with withholding and remittance processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills for engaging with diverse teams in collaborative settings.
  • Capability to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of tax forms to clients, as well as remittances to state and federal authorities.
  • Ability to provide strategic insights on key business decisions beyond basic analysis.
  • Skill in simplifying complex topics for both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • The Go-to-Market & Strategic Planning team plays a crucial role in the product delivery cycle, working closely with Fidelity Digital AssetsSM's product, operations, sales, and service teams to ensure readiness for the launch of new or enhanced capabilities and significant cross-business initiatives.
