Key Responsibilities:

As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our Global Services Department, ensuring that customer projects are executed efficiently and professionally. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a representative of Camlin, prioritizing customer satisfaction and maintaining project timelines.
  • Adhering to Camlin's Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
  • Participating in ongoing training, including mandatory health and safety courses.
  • Conducting installation, commissioning, and maintenance of standard high voltage products.
  • Working within operational substations and network facilities in your designated region.
  • Reporting to the Field Service Manager regarding project progress and service appointments.
  • Compiling detailed reports on completed work for operational review.
  • Maintaining effective communication with field and operational teams to facilitate timely project planning.
  • Gathering customer feedback to enhance service delivery and resolve any issues.
  • Performing additional duties as required, in line with your role.
  • Willingness to travel up to 70% as necessary for job responsibilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as needed; a valid passport and driver's license are essential for travel.
Educational Background:
  • An Associate's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable qualification, or a minimum of 5 years of relevant field experience.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with communication protocols and systems.
  • Experience with software and hardware solutions.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking in problem resolution.
  • Previous customer-facing experience to ensure satisfactory outcomes.
