As a Lead Calibration Specialist, you will oversee and direct activities that foster teamwork and enhance the profitable delivery of calibration laboratory products and services.

- Facilitate meetings with account managers and technicians to evaluate safety protocols, assess workloads, establish production objectives, identify priorities, review completed actions, and strategize future initiatives.
- Organize and coordinate both onsite and laboratory calibration services.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure exceptional customer service and effectively resolve issues.
- Assist in the recruitment and selection process for the service team, including performance evaluations, training, coaching, and disciplinary actions as needed.
- Prepare and analyze forecasts to ensure financial targets are met and operational costs are managed effectively.
- Adhere to ISO 9001 & ISO 17025 Quality Management System standards and procedures.
- Follow directives from senior management.
- Communicate through various channels including phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Participate in training sessions as required.
- Travel may be necessary.
- Be prepared to work beyond standard hours as needed.
- Meet project deadlines as required.
- Maintain availability via communication devices.
- Offer assistance to colleagues when possible.
Minimum of two (2) years in industrial sales or service is preferred.
- Management training is advantageous.
- Military experience is a plus.
- Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Possess electrical and mechanical aptitude with a fundamental understanding of electronic and mechanical principles.
- Experience in managing calibration laboratory operations.
- Ability to interpret sales equipment specifications and basic technical manuals.
- Skills in project management.
- Experience in personnel management.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, up to 10 hours daily.
- Work environment includes professional office settings and light to heavy industrial sites.
