The neurology department is led by board-certified specialists with extensive experience. We are committed to providing comprehensive care, available seven days a week, and collaborating with various specialties within our facility.

State-of-the-Art Facilities:
We utilize cutting-edge technology to accurately diagnose and treat neurological conditions, including:

  • Advanced neuroendoscopic tools for minimally invasive surgical procedures
  • Neuronavigation systems for precise surgical guidance
  • Innovative neurosurgical instruments for effective tumor ablation
  • High-field MRI and spiral CT imaging
  • Comprehensive in-house laboratory services

Our team is passionate about pioneering minimally invasive techniques to enhance patient recovery and reduce hospitalization times. We also provide specialized care for chronic neurological issues, such as seizures and neuromuscular disorders.

Role of Neurology Technicians:
As a vital part of our neurology service, technicians play a crucial role in the diagnosis and treatment of our patients. Responsibilities include:

  • Administering anesthesia and nursing care
  • Training in emergency procedures and surgical support
  • Assisting with patient care from admission to discharge
  • Engaging with clients to manage ongoing care
  • Collaborating with surgical teams for neurosurgical operations

Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a valid NYS Veterinary Technician's license. Experience in advanced neurology care is preferred but not mandatory. Strong skills in phlebotomy, anesthesia protocols, and postoperative care are advantageous. We are willing to train candidates who align with our values and mission.

Physical Requirements:
Candidates should be capable of lifting and restraining animals weighing up to 50 pounds and must communicate effectively with both clients and team members.
