Required Qualifications:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the design and execution of corporate training initiatives.
- Manage logistical components of training sessions, including scheduling, venue arrangements, and equipment preparation.
- Engage in effective communication with subject matter experts, clients, and internal teams to facilitate the smooth delivery of training programs.
- Proactively address changes in project scope, identify potential challenges, and develop contingency strategies.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all training activities, including course structures, registrations, attendance, evaluations, and client feedback.
- Analyze data to generate reports on program effectiveness and outcomes.
- Assist in the creation and enhancement of training materials and resources.
- Provide administrative assistance to the director of corporate training as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Familiarity with local resources and labor market trends
- Proficient in computer systems and databases
- Understanding of educational technology platforms (preferably those related to higher education)
- Knowledge of human resource management principles
- Familiarity with training methodologies, including needs assessments, delivery methods, content creation, and budgeting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate diverse training schedules
- Willingness to travel for client visits or training sessions
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented setting
- Competence in reviewing and interpreting data
- Ability to promote corporate training to community business partners
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
Physical Demands, Working Conditions, and Physical Effort
This role primarily involves sedentary work, requiring minimal physical effort. The position typically involves sitting for extended periods, with occasional walking and standing. It is generally free from unpleasant environmental conditions or hazards, situated in an office environment.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree is required.
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required.
Preferred
A master's degree is preferred.
5 years of directly related experience is preferred.
