Key Responsibilities
  • Answer all incoming calls for the Truck Shop and Commercial Engine Shop, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring accurate information is collected and documented.
  • Open work orders, order required parts, and add new jobs to our job management tool, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Review work orders for accuracy, verify warranty information, and report any invoice disputes to the relevant teams.
  • Assist with payroll timecard processing, credit card processing, and other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to the Commercial Shop Supervisor and Truck Shop Service Manager, maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Maintain accurate service records, equipment information, and customer data, ensuring confidentiality and security.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including the truck shop lead man, to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
Requirements
  • High school graduate with previous administrative, clerical, and/or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience working in a service environment or engine, mechanical, or electrical aptitude/knowledge is a plus.
  • Demonstrates a positive outlook, takes initiative in tasks and projects, and an eagerness to learn new skills.
Working Conditions

This position works in an office and engine shop/warehouse environment, requiring the ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 20lbs. The noise level in the engine shop/warehouse environment is moderate to high, and the office environment is moderate to low.
