The Senior Tax Manager position will primarily be responsible for financial reporting for income taxes, income tax compliance, tax basis of fixed asset reporting, and income tax planning.

Responsibilities:

* Prepare and review monthly and annual U.S. income tax provisions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP, including deferred tax assets and liabilities.

* Review income tax installments, overseeing and ensuring accuracy and compliance.

* Utilize annual budget and financial forecasts to minimize cash payments and expedite refunds where applicable.

* Coordinate information and compliance processes with various company subsidiaries and external service providers.

* Review U.S. income and franchise tax returns, ensuring completeness and accuracy.

* Monitor and ensure timely filing of all required annual reports.

* Review tax fixed asset calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

* Identify and recommend standardized policies and procedures to streamline and enhance the efficiency of tax preparation processes.

* Review annual returns for foreign affiliates, ensuring accuracy.

* Manage all tax audits effectively, including responding to tax notices and related correspondence in a timely manner.

Key Competencies:

* Proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process improvement.

* Ability to adapt to changes in tax laws and regulations.

Requirements:

* 4+ years of experience

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

* CPA or MST preferred

* Working knowledge of state and local tax, including incentives for doing business in specific states, counties, and cities.

* Thorough understanding of the financial statement audit function and financial reporting related to income taxes.

* Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

* Experience working with treasury and legal departments on tax matters.
