Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of wheelchair attendants to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Develop and implement effective scheduling strategies to optimize wheelchair attendant deployment
  • Monitor and enforce safety protocols and guidelines for wheelchair handling and passenger assistance
  • Provide training and mentorship to wheelchair attendants on best practices and customer service excellence
  • Manage and resolve operational challenges and passenger complaints related to wheelchair services
  • Collaborate with airport authorities and airline staff to coordinate seamless service delivery
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
  • Work closely with HR to manage recruitment, training, and management of wheelchair service personnel
Requirements
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a supervisory role within customer service or airport operations
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage teams effectively and handle challenging situations
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Ability to use electronic devices, including iPads, tablets, computers, and mobile devices
  • Pass a background check and drug screen
  • Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs, and U.S. Postal)
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The ability to lift up to 70 pounds, stand for prolonged periods, and work in a moderate to high noise environment is required.
