Position Overview:

Join our dynamic team at Arion Blue, LLC as a Structural Engineering Specialist, where you will play a pivotal role in the development and execution of innovative engineering solutions tailored for the oil and gas sector.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research, design, and testing of various structures and systems aimed at enhancing operational efficiency in energy applications.
  • Serve as the lead civil/structural engineer on designated projects, ensuring seamless collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, clients, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Develop comprehensive site plans, including SWPP, grading, drainage, and foundation designs, to facilitate effective site preparation and construction.
  • Provide essential civil/structural insights to support other engineering disciplines as required.
  • Prepare detailed technical specifications and requisitions for civil engineering materials and equipment.
  • Facilitate technical discussions and meetings with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives.
  • Review and assess supplier documentation and engineering deliverables for integration into project designs.
  • Offer technical support throughout the project lifecycle, including design reviews and constructability assessments.
  • Assist in construction and site operations, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support project goals.

Travel Requirements:

Some travel to project sites may be necessary.


Qualifications:
  • Proficient understanding of industry standards and codes such as AISC, LRFD, API, and ASCE.
  • Demonstrated ability to work diligently, stay organized, and lead teams effectively.
  • Adaptable and capable of thriving under pressure with a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in English.

Technical Skills:
  • Advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are preferred.
  • Familiarity with project management software such as Microsoft Project.
  • Experience with design software like SACS or STAAD is advantageous.

Education and Experience:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in onshore oil and gas or energy projects. A P.E. License from NCEES is preferred.
