Role Overview:

The Automotive Service Technician will play a crucial role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles in line with company standards.
Responsibilities include conducting inspections, identifying mechanical problems, and ensuring all repairs are performed efficiently and accurately.
While experience is preferred, we are open to candidates eager to receive paid training for Ford and CDJR certifications.
Compensation will be based on experience and certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct road tests to diagnose client concerns and verify repairs;
  • Perform additional duties as required;
  • Collaborate with Service Advisors to communicate vehicle needs;
  • Participate in manufacturer-specific training sessions;
  • Execute line technician services, routine inspections, system diagnostics, and comprehensive automotive troubleshooting;
  • Continuously enhance knowledge of new technologies and practices;
  • Test-drive vehicles and assess components and systems using diagnostic tools;
  • Carry out repairs under warranty according to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and electrical skills
  • Basic computer skills for utilizing factory software
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Preferred Ford certifications
  • Positive and friendly demeanor with a willingness to learn
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity
  • Mechanical and troubleshooting abilities, with proficiency in electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Missouri State Inspection License required
  • B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair
  • ASE Certification required
  • Ford certification required (or the ability to obtain it)
  • Team player with effective collaboration skills
  • Enjoyment of a dynamic work environment
