Role Overview:

The Automotive Service Technician is tasked with diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles in line with company protocols. This role involves conducting inspections, pinpointing mechanical problems, and ensuring that all repairs are executed with precision and efficiency. While prior experience is advantageous, we welcome candidates eager to receive paid training for Ford and CDJR certifications. Compensation will be aligned with experience and certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct road tests to diagnose customer complaints and verify repairs;
  • Perform additional tasks as required;
  • Collaborate with Service Advisors to address client vehicle needs;
  • Participate in manufacturer-specific training sessions;
  • Execute line technician services, routine inspections, system diagnostics, and comprehensive automotive troubleshooting;
  • Continuously enhance knowledge of emerging technologies and practices;
  • Test-drive vehicles and assess components and systems using diagnostic tools;
  • Carry out warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and electrical skills
  • Basic computer proficiency for utilizing factory software
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Preferred Ford certifications
  • Positive demeanor and a willingness to learn
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity
  • Proficient mechanical and troubleshooting abilities, with experience using electronic diagnostic tools
  • Missouri State Inspection License required
  • B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair
  • ASE Certification required
  • Ability to obtain Ford certification if not already certified
  • Team-oriented mindset with effective collaboration skills

  • Possession of personal tools
