Role Description:

The Automotive Service Technician is tasked with diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles in line with company standards. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, identifying mechanical problems, and ensuring that all repairs are performed accurately and efficiently. While experience is preferred, we welcome candidates eager to receive paid training for Ford and CDJR certifications. Compensation is commensurate with experience and certification levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct road tests to diagnose client concerns and verify repairs;
  • Perform additional duties as required;
  • Collaborate with Service Advisors to communicate vehicle needs;
  • Participate in manufacturer-specific training sessions;
  • Carry out routine inspections, diagnostics, and comprehensive automotive troubleshooting;
  • Stay updated on new technologies and practices;
  • Test-drive vehicles and assess components and systems using diagnostic tools;
  • Execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and electrical skills
  • Basic computer skills for using factory software
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Preferred Ford certifications
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity
  • Mechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to use electronic diagnostic tools
  • Missouri State Inspection License required
  • B level qualifications in Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair
  • ASE Certification required
  • Ability to obtain Ford certification if not already certified
  • Team player with effective collaboration skills
