Business Development Center Representative

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Business Development Center (BDC) Representative to join our team at Uptown Ford of Oakland. As a BDC Representative, you will play a critical role in communicating with customers through email and phone calls to schedule appointments for vehicle visits.
Duties & Responsibilities
- You will respond to customer requests from the Internet lead system and gather information about their desired vehicles, trade-in details, and goals.
- Using our existing customer database, you will identify new and additional customer interest in purchasing vehicles and contact them via email, phone, and text messages.
- You will research and develop lists of potential clients and identify business opportunities.
- Your responsibilities will include following up on sales leads, making cold calls, and scheduling appointments with customers to visit our dealership.
- You will consult regularly with our Internet Director and follow an owner follow-up system to encourage repeat and referral business.
- You will also follow a prospect development system, sending follow-up emails and making calls to potential customers.
- Other duties will include attending sales meetings and training sessions as scheduled and meeting or exceeding written forecast and projection numbers.
Requirements
To perform this job successfully, you must be able to communicate effectively with coworkers, potential and current clients, and read, analyze, and interpret written and verbal instructions.
Benefits
We offer competitive salary ranging from $40,000 to $60,000 per year, based on experience and performance. You will also have access to comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
