Core Responsibilities:

Execute Turndown Service adhering to the established standards, which include the following tasks:

  • Neatly arrange bed linens and leave the top folded for guest comfort (Change sheets upon request)
  • Place a complimentary chocolate by the guest's pillow
  • Organize the guests' personal items (e.g., clothing, shoes, toiletries, etc.)
  • Clean and/or vacuum floors as needed
  • Collect used towels and dispose of trash
  • Restock amenities
Additional Responsibilities:

Address various special requests, including:

  • Emergency clean-up
  • Providing extra requested amenities or furnishings
  • Engage with guests to provide directions and information about hotel amenities and facilities
Typical Working Hours:

  • 5:00pm-9:30pm
  • Availability required Sunday - Saturday & all holidays
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should meet the following criteria

Experience Requirements:

  • Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or professional setting preferred.
  • One year of consistent work history demonstrating reliability and commitment to the role, OR
  • If lacking recent work history, reliability and commitment can be shown through non-paid activities such as education, extracurricular involvement, or volunteering.
  • Consistent performance and attendance with 5 or fewer absences annually.
Educational Background:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
Communication Skills:

  • Ability to effectively interact with both internal and external customers.
  • Capable of quickly resolving and addressing issues
Technical Skills:

  • No specific technical skills required
Supervision Requirements:

  • Guidance provided by supervisor
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Must work independently
Other Qualifications:

  • Must be adaptable
  • Must maintain a neat and professional appearance
  • Must be capable of performing all cleaning tasks.
  • Ability to manage pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Must be organized and able to plan tasks effectively.
  • Must work well with colleagues.
  • Housekeeping involves personal guest service; must be comfortable working around guests and their belongings.
