AmeriGas, the foremost propane distributor in the United States, is seeking safety-oriented and customer-focused Service Technicians to fill immediate openings.

We are in search of an enthusiastic and service-driven individual to take on the role of Service Technician.

Key Responsibilities

As a local Service Technician, you will be instrumental in the installation and maintenance of propane tanks for our clientele, ensuring the utmost standards of safety and customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Safely operating a propane service vehicle equipped with a lift gate and boom along designated service routes.
  • Conducting repairs on existing propane tanks for both commercial and residential clients.
  • Installing new propane tanks and systems for various customers.
  • Performing Delivery Representative duties as needed, including the delivery of bulk or canister propane.
  • Executing all daily tasks in compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies.
  • Consistently utilizing required Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Working 8 to 12-hour shifts based on operational needs.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
  • Acceptable driving record.
  • Successful completion of a DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
