AmeriGas, the foremost propane distributor in the United States, is actively seeking safety-conscious and customer-oriented Service Technicians.

Are you ready to embark on a rewarding career with a recognized industry leader? AmeriGas Propane is on the lookout for a dynamic and service-focused individual to fill the role of Service Technician.

Key Responsibilities

As a local Service Technician, you will be instrumental in the installation and maintenance of propane tanks for our clientele, all while upholding the highest safety and service standards. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Safely operating a propane service vehicle equipped with a lift gate and boom along designated service routes.
  • Conducting repairs on existing propane tanks for both commercial and residential clients.
  • Installing new propane tanks and systems for various customers.
  • Performing Delivery Representative tasks as needed, including the delivery of bulk or canister propane.
  • Executing all daily operations safely by adhering to federal and state regulations, as well as AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies.
  • Consistently utilizing required Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Working 8 to 12-hour shifts based on fluctuating demands.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
  • Acceptable driving record.
  • Successful completion of a DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
