AmeriGas, the foremost propane distributor in the United States, is actively seeking safety-conscious and customer-oriented Service Technicians.
Are you ready to embark on a rewarding career with a nationally recognized leader in the industry? AmeriGas Propane is looking for a dynamic and service-focused individual to fill the role of Service Technician.
Key Responsibilities
As a local Service Technician, you will be instrumental in the installation and maintenance of propane tanks for our clientele, all while upholding the highest standards of safety and customer satisfaction. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Safely operating a propane service vehicle equipped with a lift gate and boom along designated service routes.
- Conducting repairs on existing propane tanks for both commercial and residential clients.
- Installing new propane tanks and systems for various customers.
- Occasionally performing Delivery Representative duties, including the delivery of bulk or canister propane.
- Executing all daily tasks in compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies.
- Consistently utilizing required Personal Protective Equipment.
- Working flexible shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours, depending on operational needs.

Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
- Acceptable driving record.
- Successful completion of a DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
