Position Overview

The Content Operations Lead will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing all content across the platform, ensuring it meets quality standards, remains relevant, and fosters user engagement. You will guide the content team, formulate and implement content strategies, and ensure they align with the brand's mission and business goals.

Success in this role requires the ability to streamline creative processes, articulate their objectives and progress, and evaluate outcomes against clearly defined business metrics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Innovate and establish content partnerships with both internal and external creators, managing daily interactions to inspire new content initiatives and support platform expansion.
  • Identify and strategize content initiatives aimed at driving business growth and enhancing user engagement by leveraging core product functionalities.
  • Design, plan, and execute programs and events, including seasonal and community-focused activities, while identifying new opportunities to boost engagement related to creator activities and partnerships.
  • Develop and oversee a content calendar and project plans, outlining objectives, targets, roadmaps, promotional strategies, and detailed action steps to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables, while coordinating cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Establish and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for all content initiatives, such as daily active users, retention rates, livestream hours, and overall campaign performance against these metrics.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of creator content performance, reviewing data to effectively implement strategies and identify areas for success and improvement.
  • Create company overviews and project presentations for business meetings, pitching new content opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the content and marketing teams, collaborating with cross-functional teams including creative, user operations, legal, finance, and public relations to develop integrated platform strategies.
  • Monitor and assess market and industry trends, emerging topics, new content creators, and competitor performance to provide insights and recommendations for content development.
  • This role may require travel as necessary to fulfill job responsibilities, with arrangements coordinated in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related fields.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in content development or content marketing within the technology or entertainment sectors.
  • Extensive experience in campaign management and creator partnerships is essential.
  • Demonstrated success in generating innovative content ideas and producing live content.
  • Proactive, quick-thinking, and self-motivated, with the ability to lead and manage projects independently.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams, stakeholders, and time zones.
  • Strong understanding of internet users, market trends, and major social media platforms.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from campaign metrics and marketing data.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills, capable of working within tight deadlines and resource constraints.
  • Outstanding writing and editing abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
