Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Labor and Employment Partner to join our team at Boardroom Appointments. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert legal advice to clients on labor and employment issues, manage employment-related litigation, and help clients comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide expert legal advice to clients on a range of labor and employment issues, including employment contracts, workplace policies, employee rights, and compliance with labor laws and regulations.
• Develop case strategies, direct legal research, and represent clients in court or arbitration.
• Conduct audits and assessments to identify and mitigate legal risks associated with employment practices.
• Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts, severance agreements, non-compete clauses, and confidentiality agreements to protect client interests and ensure compliance with legal standards.
Requirements:
A minimum book of business of $600K and a strong understanding of labor and employment laws are essential for this role. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, be able to provide strategic recommendations, and handle settlement negotiations and dispute resolutions effectively.
What We Offer
Boardroom Appointments offers a competitive salary range of $180,000-$250,000 per year, depending on experience, and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of professionals.
