HR Business Partner with Employee Relations Expertise

We are seeking a seasoned HR professional to join our team at RoseRyan in Hollywood. This is a contract position for up to 6 months.

As an ER Specialist, you will work closely with the CEO and key executives to maintain positive employee relations and foster a positive work environment. You will provide hands-on assistance to managers and coordinators, day-to-day coaching on employee relations issues, performance management, and compliance.

This role is supportive in nature and requires a business partner mindset. You will partner with HR Consultants and stakeholders to ensure employee and business needs are met focusing on compliance, leadership, and performance management.

  • Key Responsibilities:

Partner with HR Consultants, key executives, and stakeholders to ensure employee and business needs are met focusing on compliance, leadership, and performance management.

Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests as they relate to policies and procedures.

Redirect HR related calls or distribute correspondence to the appropriate person of the team.

Stay up to date on nationwide minimum wage updates and inform IT team in a timely manner for programming updates, as well as relate other systematic HR compliance concerns that relate to internal database and systems.

Assist with implementing company policies, goals, objectives, and procedures; Recommend new approaches to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.

Interface with company employees and triage HR-related needs as the first point of contact for HR-related questions.

Assist with employee relations issues (participate in workplace investigations, hear and resolve employee grievances)

Work in partnership with managers on performance management, progressive discipline, and employee development to foster team growth and maximize productivity.

Assist with analyzing and reviewing benefits and eligibility and ACA reporting.

Oversee companywide field staff hiring and background check process in compliance with the FCIHO and EEOC guidelines.

Assess employee training needs and facilitate/conduct training, as needed.

Lead talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, hiring of qualified job applicants [for managerial, exempt, and professional roles], and collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.

Support field recruitment efforts by conducting interviews, assessments, and leading orientations, as needed.

Respond to unemployment claims and verifications of employment.

Manage Workers Compensation claims and partners with supervisors on Return-to-Work Program

Assist with annual open enrollment communications and election process.

Partner with HR Consultants and legal to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

Identify and execute on continuous improvement of HR programs and processes to improve the overall employee and manager experience.

Assist in ad-hoc HR projects.
