Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Education Coordinator to join our team at Chi. This role will be responsible for coordinating training programs, staff credentialing, and general administrative support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate training program support, staff credentialing, and general administrative tasks as needed.
  • Maintain calendars for program directors and scheduling/coordinating meetings as required.
  • Recruit and follow up with fellows, assist with interview arrangements, and coordinate all aspects of the accreditation site visit process.
  • Manage data and track reports, maintain monthly resident and fellow rotation lists, and ensure trainee credentialing with the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners.
  • Coordinate resident and fellow conferences, perform trainee orientation, and serve as a point of contact for trainees.
  • Obtain initial paperwork for divisional files and BCM Graduate Medical Education, assist with journal articles, and maintain fellow monthly photo rosters.
  • Orient BCM Medical Students, distribute and collect evaluations, and complete payer and institutional credentialing requirements.
  • Maintain calendars for division chiefs, schedule meetings, and work with physicians to compile and distribute monthly staff, resident, and fellow call schedules.
  • Transcribe physician dictation, answer and direct phone calls, and perform other day-to-day tasks as necessary.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or three years of experience.
  • Excellent computer skills, proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to communicate effectively, and ability to multitask and exercise good judgment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain confidential information.
