Job Title: FOH Food and Beverage Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced FOH Food and Beverage Manager to lead our team at Desolation Hotel South Lake Tahoe.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring the highest quality of food and beverage service, and maintaining health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure seamless execution of food and beverage services.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and hygiene in food preparation and service.
  • Monitor and improve operational workflows to increase efficiency and service quality.
  • Recruit, train, and manage food and beverage staff to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Develop and manage budgets for the food and beverage department to ensure profitability.
  • Drive revenue growth and manage expenses to maintain profitability.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management to minimize waste and keep COGS low.
Requirements:
  • CA Food Handlers Manager Certification
  • ABC Responsible Beverage Certification
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in food and beverage industry
  • Experience using Toast or other POS system
Physical Requirements and Scheduling:

Standing up to 8+ hours in a day. Ability to lift 25 pounds. Flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation depends on your experience.
