Position Overview:
As an Ophthalmic Technician at Quadrant Inc, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional eye care services. Your expertise will be vital in assisting ophthalmologists with various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Ophthalmic Technician or Assistant, with a minimum of 2 years in a clinical setting.
- Proficient in conducting diagnostic tests such as OCT and automated visual fields.
- Skilled in lensometry, automated refractometry, and slit lamp examinations, including applanation tonometry and anterior chamber angle assessments.
- Strong organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Basic understanding of ocular diseases and the ability to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Certification as an Ophthalmic Technician or Assistant is required.
- CPR Certification (AHA) is mandatory.
- High School Diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough ocular and systemic histories while accurately documenting visual acuity.
- Review patient records to ensure all information is complete and precise.
- Perform necessary tests based on the scheduled examination and patient history.
- Assist the physician during examinations by documenting findings in electronic medical records.
- Execute diagnostic tests, including OCT and automated visual fields, and administer medications as required.
- Support in-office procedures by ensuring informed consent is obtained and maintaining a clean environment.
- Educate patients about their conditions and treatment options.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization of examination rooms throughout the day.
- Adhere to all practice protocols and comply with state and federal regulations.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor, fostering a cooperative work environment.
