Job Summary:

As a Medical Office Assistant - Oncology Specialist at LifeBridge Health, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced medical office environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and register patient appointments, verifying insurance and performing check-in/check-out and charge entry functions.
  • Enter pertinent information in patient charts, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide seamless patient care and support.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years of college) in a related field.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a medical office setting.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification.
