Chief People Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief People Officer to join our team at the YMCA of Delaware. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of our overall business plan and strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent
- Lead the development and implementation of employee onboarding, performance management, and professional development programs
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to employment
- Provide leadership and support to the HR team in creating an inviting, cohesive, and effective team
- Oversee benefit administration and manage annual budgets for the department
- Manage employee feedback mechanisms and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Bachelor's degree in leadership development, organizational development, human resources, or related field
- 10 years of progressive experience in leadership development, organizational development, or human resources in a dynamic and challenging environment
- Strong knowledge of HR functions, including recruitment, engagement, compensation, benefits design and delivery, performance management, and learning and leadership program delivery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders
- Master's degree
- SHRM Certification or similar certification
- Multi-lingual
