Position Overview:
The NYU Grossman School of Medicine, a prestigious institution in the field of medical education, is seeking a Simulation Operations Coordinator. This role is pivotal in facilitating simulation initiatives at The New York Simulation Center for the Health Sciences (NYSIM), a collaborative effort between The City University of New York (CUNY) and NYU Grossman School of Medicine.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee logistics and operations for in-person, remote, and offsite simulation programs.
- Act as a liaison between the simulation center and both internal and external stakeholders, fostering professional relationships with staff, faculty, learners, and vendors.
- Welcome participants to programs, providing introductions and clarifying program structures and support channels.
- Assist in organizing special events, educational programs, and conferences related to NYSIM.
- Participate in committees and workgroups that support various projects and initiatives.
- Coordinate meetings, preparing and distributing agendas and minutes.
- Educate faculty on the use of equipment, space, and software as necessary.
- Prepare and review documents, reports, and presentations for accuracy and clarity.
- Ensure the safe and effective use of center resources, including space, equipment, and software, while managing program setup and breakdown.
- Maintain the facility to ensure a clean, safe, and optimal learning environment, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Collect, enter, and update data to maintain departmental records and databases related to center operations and program support.
- Generate reports for programs as requested.
- Follow established policies and procedures, addressing non-routine situations appropriately and escalating unresolved issues.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of NYSIM's mission and values, integrating them into daily responsibilities.
- Pursue ongoing professional development through educational workshops and training.
- Perform additional job-related duties as required.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree with 2-3 years of relevant experience is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, along with effective interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to interact effectively with all organizational levels and maintain productive relationships with both internal and external customers.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently, with a keen attention to detail and excellent time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the healthcare sector and familiarity with audiovisual technology are advantageous.
- Candidates should possess strong communication skills to engage effectively with all organizational levels.
