Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our team at First Citizens Bank. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our end-user computing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
  • Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware systems
  • Perform daily administration tasks to ensure system uptime and performance
  • Collaborate with the IT team to resolve technical issues and implement new technologies
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 1+ years of experience in desktop support or related field
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, and network protocols
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and other productivity software
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell and batch files
  • Experience with network security and data protection
  • Ability to work in a 24/7 environment and be on call as needed
