Senior Vice President of Hospitality Investments

Position Overview:
As the Senior Vice President of Hospitality Investments at Hotel Resource, you will play a pivotal role in leading our Hotels & Hospitality team. Your expertise will be essential in driving business development and managing active mandates in the real estate sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist team members with business development functions, marketing active mandates, and facilitating real estate transactions.
- Analyze financial statements, STR reports, booking pace data, and other relevant documents to create and review hotel valuation models.
- Utilize the Uniform System of Accounts for Hotels to interpret raw financial data effectively.
- Conduct independent asset valuations employing discounted cash flow, income capitalization, leveraged IRR, comparable sales, and construction cost methodologies.
- Assess and implement value enhancement strategies for underwriting purposes under the guidance of senior team members.
- Gather and present qualitative and quantitative information that supports the transaction process.
- Prepare presentations, offering materials, and various reports both independently and in collaboration with junior team members.
- Review legal documents, agreements, licenses, and third-party reports pertinent to the transaction process.
- Communicate findings and analyses clearly to clients and investors, collaborating with the senior team to secure mandates and close real estate transactions.
- Mentor and review the work of analysts, fostering their development in both soft and technical skills.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in financial and real estate transactions.
- BA/BS degree in Business Finance, Hotel Administration, or Real Estate Finance.
- Proven track record of professional and academic success.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Preferred experience in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Capability to work independently while nurturing relationships and mentoring junior team members.
- Flexibility to work outside standard business hours and on weekends as required.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, along with a solid understanding of Word and PowerPoint.
- Adept at managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and have the ability to travel domestically.
