Utility Aide/Dishwasher Position

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Utility Aide/Dishwasher to join our team at Maxwell Group, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing various services in the areas of food preparation, dishwashing, sanitation, and supply management under the supervision of the Executive Chef/Director of Dining Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef/Director of Dietary Services with food and supply inventory management.
- Attend to kitchen spills and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Assist in meal preparation, manage portion control, and ensure proper diet requirements are met.
- Follow sanitation programs and schedules, including daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks.
- Keep food items from contamination and spoilage by using proper storage and labeling techniques.
- Assist with receiving, inspecting, and storing supplies.
- Remove trash from kitchen areas and monitor garbage cans and sites.
- Wash, scrub, and dry dishes, utensils, and equipment.
- Manage dishwashing stations and ensure proper chemical usage.
- Perform preventive maintenance on dishwashing equipment.
- Transport dishes to the main kitchen for cleaning.
- Set up and break down member/resident events as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school graduation or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar position desired.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
- Ability to meet or exceed attendance and punctuality standards.
- Ability to use miscellaneous software and office equipment.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, taste, and/or smell.
- Must be able to lift or carry weight up to 50 lbs.
- May be exposed to minimal to moderate noise and exposure to blood and/or body fluids.
