Medical Assistant

At Yale New Haven Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians and providers with patient care, rooming patients, and performing clerical tasks.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient charts.
- Provide information to patients to ensure they fully utilize and benefit from our practice services.
- Convey a positive image of our practice and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; graduation from an accredited medical assistant certificate program preferred.
- Certification/Registration (CCMA/CMA/AAMA/RMA) preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year private practice medical assistant experience preferred in a primary care or specialist office.
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent organizational, communication, customer service, and teamwork skills required.
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- EMR experience preferred and working knowledge of Microsoft office applications required.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to complete work in a timely fashion.
