Casino Accounting Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled Casino Accounting Representative to join our team at Resorts Atlantic City. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily audits of markers, slots, and other gaming systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Verify and retain all documents related to casino operations, including receipts, invoices, and financial reports.
  • Manage the receipt, printing, and issuance of promotional coupons, ensuring accurate tracking and reconciliation.
  • Review and verify redeemed coupons against issuance information to prevent fraud and ensure compliance.
  • Ensure proper accounting treatment of all promotional coupons, including accurate recording and reporting.
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies and external partners to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to simulcast settlements.
  • Assist with the storage and maintenance of department records, ensuring accurate and timely filing.
  • Reconcile computer reports, service documents, and tapes to develop daily manager's reports, providing accurate and timely financial information.
  • Record, bill, and collect charge accounts, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Review charges for proper authorizations, credit approval, and billing address, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and mail bills on a timely basis, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing.
  • Promote positive public relations by providing excellent customer service and ensuring a professional image.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum one (1) year of relevant experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Excellent clerical and office skills, including strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
