Job Title: Casino Audit Specialist

About the Role

The Casino Audit Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of casino gaming activity and paperwork to maintain regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Audit jackpot tickets and related paperwork to ensure accurate recording and compliance with tax documents.
  • Prepare daily slot meter audits and analyze slot machine data in the machine accounting system.
  • Audit and reconcile sportsbook daily data and paperwork, researching and resolving variances for NRT Machines.
  • Audit Table Games fills, credits, and markers, documenting non-compliance and issuing exception reports.
  • Prepare the Master Game Report after completing table games audits.
  • Audit cage paperwork and related documents, documenting non-compliance and issuing exception reports.
  • Read Slot and Table Games meters and record figures.
  • Record daily audit totals in a timely manner.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and month-end reports, responding to management requests for standard Departmental reports.
  • File documents and reports in a coordinated manner, ensuring accurate file boxes.

Work Environment

The Casino Audit Specialist will work in a fast-paced casino environment, exposed to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and hectic kitchen environments.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in accounting, combined with related work experience, or extensive work experience in casino accounting.
  • One-year accounting experience, with six months of practical bookkeeping and/or auditing experience preferred.
  • Fluency in Excel and other computer applications, with a willingness to learn necessary skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate in English.
