Key Responsibilities
- Set up, configure, and sustain servers, networks, and computing systems.
- Assess system performance to guarantee reliability and uptime.
- Conduct routine system updates, patches, and data backups.
- Identify and rectify hardware, software, and network complications.
- Establish and oversee security protocols to safeguard data and systems.
- Administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
- Collaborate with fellow IT personnel and departments to address business needs.
- Document system setups, processes, and modifications.
- Offer technical assistance and training to end-users.
- Remain informed about the latest industry advancements and technologies.
- Undertake additional tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive understanding of network protocols, hardware, and software.
- Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., Hyper-V).
- Proficient in Windows operating systems.
- Familiarity with cloud solutions (e.g., Azure, M365).
- Strong analytical and communication abilities.
- Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 7-10 years of experience in a role similar to IT Systems Administrator.
