About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Billing Office Assistant to join our team at MDRX Billing LLC in King of Prussia, PA.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the billing team with various administrative duties, including processing and managing patient accounts, responding to denials and requests for medical records, and maintaining confidentiality of patient records.

The estimated salary for this role is around $45,000 - $55,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and manage patient accounts, ensuring accurate and timely billing and collections.
  • Respond to denials and requests for medical records in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with the billing team to identify and resolve issues related to medical billing and insurance claims.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient records and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Requirements
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal staff, patients, and external parties such as adjusters and attorneys.
  • Possess strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
