QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST FAMILY - CORE

  • Assists in the development, execution, and oversight of the project quality management program.
  • Applies a fundamental understanding of project contractual documents.
  • Provides coordination and supervision of the quality plan specific to the project.
  • Participates in pre-planning, pre-installation, and progress meetings.
  • Monitors the quality programs of subcontractors.
  • Conducts regular site inspections to ensure adherence to contract documents, manufacturer guidelines, and industry standards.
  • Investigates instances of non-compliance; collaborates with supervisors or other quality team members to identify root causes and suggest improvements to work processes to prevent recurrence.
  • Utilizes internal quality assurance systems and tools to generate reports for field superintendents, project managers, and subcontractors, detailing both compliant and non-compliant quality conditions.
  • May serve as the quality representative for one or multiple projects.
  • May perform basic constructability assessments under direct supervision.

SENIOR QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST

In addition, this role will entail the following responsibilities:

  • Takes charge of conducting comprehensive constructability assessments and engages in page-turn review meetings.
  • Performs intermediate quality assurance evaluations, including assessments of water, moisture content, material compatibility, and adhesion.
  • Responsible for providing basic training on-site or at the office regarding construction quality-related subjects.
  • May be tasked with reviewing and certifying submittals for accuracy.
  • Monitors specific and systemic work practices, identifying, documenting, and recommending solutions to construction quality challenges.
  • Capable of articulating project quality status and issues during project review meetings.
  • Identifies non-compliant conditions using advanced quality recognition skills.
  • Provides mentorship to less experienced colleagues on advanced quality-related topics.
  • Demonstrates the ability to perform work accurately, completely, and promptly.
  • Possesses intermediate verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office at an intermediate level.
  • Exhibits formal presentation skills at an intermediate level.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, building codes, and other technical product and material data at an intermediate level.
  • Knowledgeable in material and field testing for quality assurance processes at an intermediate level.
  • Familiar with construction assemblies across various construction systems at an intermediate level.
  • Proficient in basic JE Dunn construction and quality software tools.
  • Knowledgeable about construction trades and scopes of work at an intermediate level.
  • Capable of building relationships and collaborating within a team, both internally and externally.
  • In lieu of the above qualifications, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
  • Must be able to lift up to specified weight.
  • Willingness to work non-traditional hours to meet business needs is required.
  • May involve periods of overnight travel.
  • Normal office environment, with potential exposure to extreme conditions (hot or cold).
  • Frequent activities include standing, walking, sitting, and viewing computer screens.
  • Occasional activities include bending and reaching above shoulder height.
