Position Overview:

Job Title: Quality Assurance Architect

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and spearhead the enterprise-level QA strategy, methodology, and framework.
  • Continuously enhance the Quality Engineering strategy for the consumer lending IT landscape.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support for QA across consumer loan origination, servicing, data, and system performance portfolios.
  • Lead Quality Engineering initiatives with industry-leading practices and solutions.
  • Mentor and guide the QE team to improve quality outcomes through test automation and innovation.
  • Oversee hiring, training, and performance evaluations of QE team members.
  • Implement and uphold high-quality engineering standards.
  • Collaborate with application development and support teams to align with QA principles and best practices.
  • Drive continuous QA enhancements with measurable results in metrics and service level agreements.
  • Manage the utilization of capacity, testing tools, environments, and knowledge assets.
  • Review QA activities, identify risks, and implement corrective measures.
  • Gather and present quality metrics, key performance indicators, service level agreements, and trends to stakeholders.
  • Act as the escalation point for QA issues and primary contact for QE teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in Quality Engineering and knowledge of the commercial loans/mortgage sector.
  • Proven track record in QA program management across multiple projects with a global delivery model.
  • Ability to lead large, complex programs and inspire teams.
  • Expertise in various testing methodologies (system, functional, regression, performance, etc.).
  • Experience with QA in both agile and waterfall environments.
  • Skilled in developing and managing automated testing processes.
  • Recognized thought leader in software quality assurance trends.
  • Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation abilities.
  • Excellent coordination skills in a fast-paced, multi-vendor, agile setting.
  • Demonstrated leadership in implementing and shaping QA processes and strategies.
  • Strong technical skills in both functional and non-functional testing.
  • Proficient in risk management, identification, and mitigation.
  • Experience managing testing functions in an outsourced, managed services model.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in the financial services industry.

Compensation: The salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $120,000 annually, influenced by factors such as geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
