Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our Advertising Sales Team at the Star Tribune. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers to identify new business opportunities and increase revenue
  • Prospect for new business and identify potential customers to target
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide custom marketing and advertising solutions to customers
  • Manage and develop an active sales pipeline to drive revenue growth
  • Provide strategic marketing recommendations to customers to help them achieve their business goals
  • Negotiate agreements and close business deals
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of sales or account management experience
  • A college degree or equivalent sales experience
  • Strong ability to strategically hunt for new business and sell multiple advertising solutions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Proficient in Forecasting/Revenue Management systems, Campaign Management systems, and CRM tools
