About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training Program Manager to join our FMS team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and managing training programs for international military students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage training programs for FMS clients, including planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Collaborate with US Navy and industry stakeholders to coordinate the acquisition, development, and implementation of training plans.
  • Identify and create strategies to support the successful delivery and introduction to service for new classes of US-built small combatant ships.
  • Develop and implement surface ship training programs for international military students, including planning, communication, outreach, and foreign customer liaison support services.
  • Help determine and refine requirements of ship designated classification society and the standards of training and certification for watchkeepers.
  • Develop recommendations for whole ship curriculum and training schedule integration to minimize lost time and maximize student classroom output throughout the training program.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience with training and technical requirements for the US Navy or US Coast Guard surface ships.
  • 3+ years of experience with foreign military international student training.
  • Experience with staffing and coordinating multiple elements of a large, complex training program management to deliver the required training outcomes within cost and schedule estimates.
  • Ability to function as a team leader in a demanding environment, to work both independently and with a team to resolve problems.
  • Ability to work with all Microsoft Office suite programs.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in shipboard evolutions and training and education, engineering, damage control, and readiness assignments, including in Littoral Combat Ships (LCS) or frigate class ships.
  • Experience developing training curriculums or instruction in a military or college environment.
  • Knowledge of developing training according to US Navy instructions to include Integrated Learning Environment Course Development and Life Cycle Maintenance methods.
  • Knowledge of security cooperation and experience working with foreign clients and export control and ITAR issues.
  • Master's degree in Education, International Affairs, Naval Science, or a related field.
  • US Navy Master Training Specialist, Project Management Professional (PMP), or Agile Scrum Master Certification.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154, annualized USD.
