Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, including baseline scheduling and resource allocation
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential delays and risks

  • Verify schedule integrity and evaluate logic and float paths
  • Analyze change orders for schedule impacts and develop corrective action plans

  • Project submittals, RFI's, drafting subcontracts, purchase orders and negotiating contract pricing to come in under budget
  • Schedules on Microsoft project or Primavera
  • Budgeting and cost projections
  • Large amounts of word processing, letters/correspondence to owners and engineers
  • Attending progress meetings
  • Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
  • Ability to communicate verbally and electronically in an educated and professional manner with owners and engineers
  • Ability to work in office but also spend time in field, understand what is being built
  • Ability to manage and schedule deliveries from suppliers
  • Ability to schedule and coordinate subcontractors
Requirements:
  • Construction/related degree with 4+ years construction scheduling experience
  • Excellent computer skills and analytical ability
  • Experience working with Primavera P6
  • Understanding of industrial construction process
  • Must have ability to interpret contract specifications and drawings
  • Knowledge of contract procedures and principles
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment
  • Ability to understand construction logic and sequencing of complex projects
  • P.E. license preferred but not required
