Job Description

Company Overview: Founded in 2003, unWired Broadband is a Fresno-based company dedicated to providing fast and reliable Internet connections to homes and businesses in rural and underserved areas.

We currently cover over 19,000 square miles between Corning and the base of the Grapevine with over 200 strategically located tower sites. This has led to 21 years of continuous growth, fueled by increasing demands for connectivity.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities: We are seeking an experienced Scheduler to join our Technical Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for initiating contact with customers to schedule technician visits, such as site surveys and installation of new service.

Key Duties:

  • Initiate contact with customers to schedule service appointments.
  • Notify and supply field installers with their assigned schedules daily.
  • Communicate regularly with Sales regarding installation timelines.
  • Manage assigned projects and installations according to project specifications and serve as company liaison to customers.
  • Maintain positive customer relations by communicating effectively, maintaining a positive attitude, delivering to customer requirements, and being timely and efficient.
  • Communicate with appropriate departments regarding customer complaints that could develop into product issues, customer dissatisfaction or major product failures.
  • Review job contract specifications and obligations, and coordinate with engineering and job supervision on job progress, completion dates, equipment delivery dates and establish schedule of installation based on company expectations.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent language and mathematical skills.
  • Advanced skill in communicating verbally and in writing with both customers and other departments.
  • Existing familiarity or experience with field concepts such as average job times and manageable workloads.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications.
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Highly organized with demonstrated ability to multitask.
