Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our dynamic team as a Business Systems Analyst. This role will be responsible for bridging the gap between our business objectives and IT capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows.
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can help drive business decisions.
  • Evaluate existing business processes, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Liaise between departments and communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Create detailed documentation, including business cases, process maps, and system requirements.
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to help stakeholders understand business performance.
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of delivered solutions meet business requirements.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to ensure they can effectively use new systems and processes.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
  • Certifications (Preferred): CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional), PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis), or similar certifications.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL), project management software (e.g., JIRA, Trello), and familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with programming languages like SQL or Python can be beneficial.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to devise data-driven solutions for business problems.
