The Business Analyst - Audio Video (AV) Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of audio and video systems across all Churchill Downs Incorporated gaming sites in the USA. This includes working with local IT and corporate IT teams to implement, maintain, and support enterprise AV systems. The ideal candidate will have experience managing vendor relationships, maintaining technical knowledge of AV systems, and providing excellent communication and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities- Document and standardize AV support processes and systems across all properties
- Facilitate meetings to discuss end-user requirements, status, issues, planning, training, and operational needs related to AV systems
- Maintain an equipment list with warranty and support agreement dates for each property
- Work with vendors and local IT teams to keep AV systems up to date and remediate security vulnerabilities
- Stay current on industry standards and practices within the AV industry
- Work with construction and vendor timelines to schedule vendors for system delivery with minimal business impact
- Communicate effectively with corporate IT, vendors, and property staff as needed
- Analyze application needs and contribute to the design, structure, and maintenance of AV systems and architecture
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT supporting AV systems
- Project management background a plus
- Experience in gaming applications support preferred
- Experience understanding major business processes within the gaming industry preferred
- Ability to articulate and demonstrate major IT and casino AV project implementations
- Minimum 3+ years of proven vendor relationship management experience
- Understanding of core ITIL processes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Regular use of a keyboard and mouse for typing and navigating software
- Viewing a computer screen for prolonged periods
- Ability to manipulate paperwork, including filing, sorting, and organizing
- Moving within the office environment to attend meetings, use office equipment, or interact with colleagues
