Job Summary:

Dollar Tree is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented HR Administrative Assistant to join our team in Ocala, FL. As an integral part of the Human Resources Department, you will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of HR-related functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and hire top talent for our Distribution Center
  • Create and post internal job openings, and set up job files
  • Review internal candidates and advise managers on applications
  • Handle pre-employment drug testing and new hire paperwork
  • Order badges and create personnel folders for new associates
  • Conduct new employee orientations and assist with initial phone screens
  • Assist with scheduling candidates for orientations and data entry
  • Manage Kronos timekeeping and payroll
  • Provide administrative backup to the General Manager's Administrative Assistant

Requirements:

  • Bilingual (Spanish) highly preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Three years of administrative office experience with knowledge of Distribution Center practices and procedures
  • Proficient in PC skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, and Internet
  • Strong focus on customer service and previous Human Resources experience preferred
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including composition and grammar skills
  • Kronos experience or another payroll database similar to Kronos highly preferred
