About the Role:
City Experiences aims to craft unforgettable moments for our guests.

The successful Sales Associate will play a crucial role in supporting the account management team, engaging in prospecting activities, managing the post-booking sales process, and ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction while maximizing revenue and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales Focus:
Develop an in-depth understanding of all regional offerings, including vessels, products, enhancements, pricing, and sales scripts to effectively engage customers.

Achieve weekly prospecting targets through proactive outreach as guided by the Regional Director of Sales to identify potential leads for the account management team.

Manage incoming inquiries efficiently, ensuring timely responses and ongoing engagement before transitioning leads to an account manager.

Present pricing options convincingly to maintain guest interest and drive sales.
Address objections with comprehensive product knowledge.

Lead post-contract follow-ups, including adjustments to passenger counts and upselling opportunities, with the goal of increasing revenue.

Successfully upsell existing clients to premium options and enhancements.

Maintain a flexible weekly schedule, including site visits and client meetings to support the account management team.

If a territory lacks coverage from an account manager or if market demand increases, proactively drive sales efforts under the direction of the Regional Director of Sales.

Participate in networking events alongside the account management team to enhance local market awareness.

Act as a resource for the national sales team, including conducting site visits and welcoming clients onboard when a national account manager is unavailable.

Guest Service:
After securing a sale, take on the role of event coordinator, managing all cruise details, particularly for public dining cruises and deck charters.

Ensure meticulous attention to detail, relaying accurate product information to the Food & Beverage and Operations teams for seamless execution.

Be present during high-profile events, serving as a liaison between sales and operations.

Step in for the event coordination team as needed to ensure boats are prepared for service.

Drive post-cruise follow-ups, expressing gratitude to guests, gathering feedback, requesting referrals, rebooking, and encouraging completion of our survey.

Collaborate with the Regional Director of Sales to resolve guest issues promptly.

Administrative:
Utilize Salesforce CRM to effectively plan and manage activities within assigned markets and track sales productivity.

Employ Salesforce CRM and Reservation systems to accurately manage bookings and cruise details.

Maintain strong organizational skills through effective time management, prioritization, and accurate documentation.
Submit weekly reports as directed by the Regional Director of Sales.
Compile necessary reports for bi-weekly meetings, ensuring visibility of all cruise details for sales and operations teams.

Qualifications:


A bachelor's degree is preferred, along with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a sales support or sales role. Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.

Focus on guest satisfaction and meet deadlines.

Establish and maintain effective working relationships as required by job responsibilities.

Demonstrate effective listening skills, assess situations, identify relevant issues, and propose solutions.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends to accommodate client needs.
