We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant with proficiency in the Japanese language to join our team at Top Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for daily operations, supervision of subordinates, and preparation of financial reports.
Key Responsibilities- Daily Operations: Oversee daily accounting activities, including financial statement preparation, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Supervision of Subordinates: Lead and mentor a team of accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of tasks and projects.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, including monthly and quarterly closings, and annual reports to the CFO and Vice President, Corporate Planning & Operation.
- Tax and Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, local, and municipal tax regulations, and prepare tax-related assignments, including transfer pricing.
- Business Planning and Budgeting: Participate in business planning and budgeting activities, including cash management and audit preparation.
- Experience: At least five years of experience in accounting, with a strong background in financial reporting and analysis.
- Language Skills: Professional proficiency in Japanese, with excellent communication and writing skills.
- Location: Must be willing to work in an office environment, with no remote work options.
