About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Accountant with Japanese fluency to join our team at A-STAFFING, INC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations, supervise subordinates, and ensure accurate financial data entry.
  • Authorize corporate check issuance, ACH, and wire transfers, and perform fund transfers for payroll and other payments.
  • Prepare payroll data, arrange with payroll companies, and maintain 401K programs in compliance with IRS requirements.
  • Monitor sales tax filings, expenses, and asset additions/deletions, and resolve vendor disputes to maintain good credit.
  • Closes AR, processes customer invoices, and finalizes Trial Balance, preparing monthly financial reports for management.
  • Participates in monthly meetings, reports financial information, and presents quarterly financial data to headquarters in Japan.
  • Verifies quarterly transactions, closes books, and reports final trial balances and backup data to Japan Headquarters.
  • Responsible for Federal, Local, and Municipal Tax Related assignments, including tax returns, forms, and discussions with external tax accountants.
  • Prepares Transfer Pricing data, completes documentation, and participates in business planning and budgeting.
  • Monitors cash balances, forecasts cash positions, and reports to management.
  • Audit preparation and presentation to auditors, if required.
Reporting Structure

This position reports to the General Manager, Corporate Planning & Operation, or CFO, with other designations possible by the President & CEO.
