Client Relations Specialist

NRG Energy, a prominent player in the energy sector, has positioned itself as a leading provider of comprehensive heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) solutions. Our approach encompasses everything from the installation of high-quality products to extensive service plans, ensuring optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.
We are in search of a Client Relations Specialist to join our dedicated team.
Position Overview:
The Client Relations Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting our operational needs by effectively communicating with customers, addressing inquiries, and collaborating with field personnel and management while fulfilling various administrative responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and assist customers with a variety of inquiries.
- Provide customer support related to sales, promotions, installations, and communications.
- Handle both incoming and outgoing calls, process payments, offer service plans, and manage appointment scheduling.
- Conduct data entry tasks, utilizing emails, text messages, and other communication tools to efficiently coordinate resources.
- Follow up with customers regarding permits and inspections, and assist in rescheduling services as needed.
- Maintain positive customer relations, ensuring that claims and complaints are resolved fairly and in compliance with consumer regulations.
- Proactively inform and educate customers about company initiatives.
- Analyze customer feedback and recommend improvements based on survey results.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to safety.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2-4 years of experience in an office environment, with a focus on customer service via phone.
- Proficient in computer skills, including at least one year of experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends as required.

- Completion of college coursework.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 20 pounds regularly.
- Frequent bending, kneeling, or crouching required.
- Capacity to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
- Ability to hear and understand speech to operate office equipment safely.
- Vision capabilities must include the ability to focus on close and distant objects.
- Ability to communicate effectively through spoken word.
- Proficiency in data entry using standard keyboard and numeric keypad.
- Physical ability to reach, grab, hold, lift, and manipulate objects.
