About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Professional to join our team as an Assisted Stretching Specialist at StretchLab Park Ridge. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional one-on-one assisted stretch sessions to our clients, educating them on stretching techniques and mobility, and creating customized stretching experiences to meet their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions to clients
  • Educate clients on stretching techniques and mobility
  • Create customized stretching experiences for clients
  • Help create a unique StretchLab experience to build memberships and retention
  • Ensure client safety through proper stretch techniques and enforce StretchLab policies and safety regulations
  • Attend monthly staff meetings, training sessions, webinars, and continuing education
  • Handle member concerns when applicable
  • Attend offsite pop-up events throughout the community
  • Help clean and maintain the studio environment and equipment
Requirements
  • Fitness or health and wellness background required or degree in Kinesiology/Exercise Science
  • Must have a professional work ethic, be reliable, and adhere to our strict punctuality policies
  • Positive energy, enthusiasm, and attitude
  • Ability to create a welcoming environment for all people
  • Fantastic communication skills and exude empathy and compassion
  • Must value connecting with people and have a passion for helping others achieve their goals
  • MUST be team-oriented ('we, not me')
  • MUST be coachable and have a strong desire for growth
Availability
  • Shifts are generally 4-6 hours each and must be open to working some weekend days
