The Environmental Technician will be responsible for adhering to site-specific safety protocols and following directives from supervisory staff. This position requires a professional demeanor and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures for both the company and clients.
  • Transport and connect hoses, fittings, pumps, and other equipment essential for operations.
  • Monitor and operate specialized equipment, including pumps and breathing air apparatus.
  • Follow operational procedures and safety practices diligently.
  • Assist in donning and doffing HazMat PPE and entering confined spaces for tank cleaning.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks, including the removal of products or sludges while in the tank.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Working Environment:

  • Industrial settings such as refineries, petrochemical facilities, and utilities.
  • Exposure to outdoor elements and confined spaces while wearing full HazMat gear.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in refinery tank cleaning is preferred; other relevant experience in offshore, drilling, or military settings is acceptable.
